New Life Media has a 13 year history as one of Toronto’s best production houses. Our creativity produce "content" by uniting the industries of Music - Graphics - Film & Video. We deliver this content to our clients via the Web, on DVD's, CDs, live staging and broadcasts.
Padger Publishing administers our 150 song music catalogue to film and T. V. shows as well as our newly signed international distribution deal with iTunes.

New Life Media is the brainchild of Director, Patrick Canavan. We have been in business since 1993 and we became a corporation in February 2004.
Music creation has been the foundation of the company with music videos and packaging of CDs becoming an important part of the company’s growth.

We produced and released Music and videos for the Canadian chart topping indie band U4EA. This lead to collaboration with painter Ken Kirkby and his immense art tour "Isumataq".
Ken’s 152 X 12 foot painting of the Canadian arctic evoked themes of Art,
Canadian History, Aboriginal issues and the environment and was unveiled in Canadian
Parliament. New Life Media created the video visuals and Soundscape compositions
(Songs of the Earth) as well as a pop rock album written by Pat Canavan and former
Honeymoon Suite bassist Gary Lalonde.
The tour concluded at the Isumataq Pavilion in Ontario Place, Toronto in the autumn of
1993.
“I was deeply affected by the whole process,” says Pat. And it led him to the study of
acoustic/music therapy with Dr. Charles Potter. “Charles became an alternative
health practitioner after being a decorated world war two (WW11) field medic and
long time piano tuner.

In 1996, Pat was commissioned to write Celestial Co-Creation for Norma Toombs’ Life Response health clinic. Since then, Doctors and Health practitioners have been using the CD worldwide.
Collaborating with Norma Toombs and Marilyn Velpel the three came up with a revolutionary new way to assist in the healing of individuals by using their name and birth date. We continue this service today and have launched a web site for babies called BABY SOUND ASLEEP.

In 1997, New Life Media began producing corporate video and audio programming for our corporate clientele. These included mass duplication of Videos, CDs and tapes.
The business grew into large-scale corporate video presentations and eventually film, television and radio commercials. We continue these services today.

In 1999, Pat was commissioned to compose the musical score for the Award Winning Sci-Fi Film Amplifier. The soundtrack featured the song “These Other Things” with Pat’s band HERE. The drummer for the song was Geoff Bennett who later went on to write the worldwide mega hit “Stomp”. We have also created works for other films like Kat Lantaigne's film Wilma's Sacrifice and Hal Graham's Nature Documentary "Torngat Tapestries"
