About The Artist

Don Chase, an Ojibway artist, was born in Port Hope, Ontario in 1938. His passion for the fine arts was fuelled through his business career in the graphic arts industry. Formally trained at the Ontario College of Art,

Don's awareness of his own roots has been intensified by endless research of native legends and traditions. He has developed his talent from a Native perspective, hence the deep emotion and sensitivity that has become a trademark of his art.

The photo and Don Chase's sculptures and this one above were taken by Harry Canavan of JHC Photo Art. Harry is a freelance photographer whose cards and posters specialize in land and nature scapes from around the world. He also took the photos on Celestial Co-Creation.
